The story with this dock is.....it has been totally out of water by many feet. I wish
I would have taken a picture before now. You could actually walk from where I am
taking the picture over to the dock. As you can see in the picutre below the engine is just
about in the water.

More boaters are getting out on the lake.

The fisherman seem to enjoy the nice weather.

Actually, I think they are glad the lake is filling up.

The deer are everywhere. I should say signs of
them are everywhere. I have only seen a few. Glad
Miller has been pre-occupied when I have seen them!
He would have chased them to next county!!

Miller enjoying a stroll along the bank line.

Miller had some friends come with us on
on of our daily lake trips.
The small dot at the top of the picture is Miller
getting a stick. Eller is the dark dog. It was his first
time to swim. He didn't know what to think. Sumit is the

This is Gus my pig statue. Those who know me know I love pigs!
I even had a pot bellied pig...his name was Gus. Which is where this one
got his name. In 1999, we went to my Aunt Jane and Uncle Joe's house, who live in Texas for my Granny's memorial service. I fell in love with him. I tried to hide him in my suite case
but I was caught. Years later.........
This past summer while on vacation we stopped in to visit them. I asked them if they still had the pig. I had not seen him sitting around. They had him sitting by their wall unit. I couldn't believe 9 years later they still had him. They said I could have him. I was so excited. They said if I brought him up they were going to give him to me. Don and Joe packed him up for the ride home. He now sits on my fireplace. He makes me smile everytime I look at him and how sweet they were to give him to me. They got him back in 1988. They dated the bottom of him. So I dated him too 2008. He is twenty years old.
Isn't he the cutest?

However, I do miss it's power.............this is a v6 with front wheel
drive...it also is 4 wheel drive. To new to try and take it off road....;)

Lake Lanier

The Bradford Pear trees in bloom. They are so

God Walks with you

I got this as an email.....

A girl went to her friends house and she ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small COMMUNITY and she lived only a few blocks away.As she walked along under the bike trail Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her.She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection.Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt asthough someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived homesafely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the samealley just twenty minutes after she had been there.Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began toweep.Thanking the Lord for her safety an d to help this young woman, she decided to go to thepolice station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him.She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had se en in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her.She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, 'Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her.'Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're not alone. ( people ) will not stand up for God............PS: God is always there in your heart and loves you no matter what 'If you deny me in front of your friends, I shall deny you in front of my Father' STAND UP FOR HIM
